Where is River Point located?
Currently we are located on Main Street, near downtown Cornelia. If you are from the area, we are located in the old Woods Furniture Building at 193 N Main Street. Thus this facility is affectionately known as "River in the Woods."
What should I wear?
River Point adopts the same philosophy as Jesus... "Come as you are."
What time do I arrive?
At 10:00 am we fellowship as a body in our international cafe where we serve juice, donuts and Starbucks Coffee®. Check In for children nursery-6th grade begins at 10:10 and lasts until 10:40. (For more info on KidsXstream scroll down) If you want a tour of our Main Street campus, please arrive early and introduce yourself to one of the Host Team greeters outside and tell them that it is your first visit-it is their pleasure to serve you.
Where do I park?
Parking is located in the city lot next to the church, the city lot behind Gusben's Restaurant, United Bank, Hudgins Furniture as well as first time visitor parking along Main Street.
What about the worship?
Worship of the Lord Jesus is held in high regard at RPCC. That is why we hold our Worship Team to the highest standards - and they meet those standards week after week! Our worship style is characterized as "Come as you are" contemporary but is overshadowed by the intimacy of the moment. We would love to have you join us this week!
If you have any questions about our Worship, contact the following:
Church Office.
You are invited to join us each Sunday Morning beginning at 10:30 a.m. to worship with us. Hope to see you this Sunday!
RPCC has cutting edge Children's Worship!
Each week while our Youth and Adults are in Worship, our children are worshipping as well. Broken down into three (3) groups, it is age specific and designed for your child to leave with a greater knowledge of God's Love and Word.
Discover Yard (Infants & Toddlers): Newborns, Crawlers and Toddlers up to 2 years old. (short image driven lessons in a safe, clean room simulating the wonders of nature.)
The Barn Yard (2's & 3's): image driven lessons in a barn yard setting.
Play Yard (Preschool-K): Active Worship, Exciting craft, Thrilling lesson and HUGE indoor playgound.
God's Big Backyard (grades 1-6): Worship with a live band (just like the adults) then divide into age-appropriate groups for awesome "walk thru the Bible" lessons.
NOTE: God's Big Backyard takes child security VERY SERIOUSLY. Please allow time to check-in and check-out your child properly. For more information about Child Security and GBB at RPCC, contact the church office.
